Small repairs, done the same week

Most of the calls we get are for one thing that has failed: a slipped or cracked tile, a storm-lifted ridge, a leaking valley, lead flashing that has pulled away from a chimney or a dormer. We can usually look within a day or two and fix it in the same visit.

We do not patch over problems with a tube of sealant and hope. If a repair will not hold we will say so, and show you the photos so you can see why.

Larger repairs

Sometimes a section needs more: a whole slope re-battened, a valley rebuilt, a dormer re-covered or every ridge and hip tile lifted and re-bedded on a dry-fix system. These are priced as a fixed job, not by the hour, so the number you agree is the number you pay.

Storm damage is a big part of our winter. If your insurer needs a report and photos we will put one together as part of the job.

How quickly can you come out?

For an active leak we aim to look within one to two working days, weather allowing. Call or text Stan directly on 07464 107862 and tell us what you are seeing.

Do you charge for a quote?

No. We look, we photograph what we find, and we give you a fixed written price. If it is a ten-minute job we will usually just do it there and then and tell you what it costs first.

Can you repair a roof in winter?

Yes. Most repairs are not weather dependent beyond needing a dry couple of hours. Re-roofs we plan around the forecast.

Is the repair guaranteed?

Yes, repairs carry a 10-year workmanship guarantee in writing.
