How we use your details

What we collect

When you send our quote form or call us we collect the details you give us: your name, phone number, email address, the property address and a description of the work. The quote form is provided by Heyflow and stores your answers securely so we can see them.

Why we collect it

To ring you back, survey the roof, send you a quote, carry out and guarantee the work, and keep the records we are legally required to keep for accounting. We rely on our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, on the contract between us.

Who we share it with

Nobody, apart from the services we use to run the business: our form provider, our website host, our accountant, and our marketing agency, which manages this website and our advertising on our behalf. We never sell or rent your details.

The postcode checker

The checker on our areas page sends the postcode you type to postcodes.io, a free UK postcode lookup service, to find its location and work out how far it is from us. The postcode is not stored by us and is not linked to you. The map is drawn with Leaflet and uses map tiles from OpenStreetMap, which sees your browser's requests for the map images.

Cookies and analytics

This site may use advertising measurement tags so we can tell whether our adverts are working. They do not identify you to us personally. You can block them in your browser settings without affecting the site.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not go ahead are deleted within 12 months. Job records are kept for the length of the guarantee plus the period required by HMRC.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, or object to our using it, by emailing estanleyandsonroofing@outlook.com. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
